Meet Our Candidate
BRANDON'S BACKGROUND
Brandon Ford was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He is a proud graduate of Buchtel High School, class of 1996. Brandon has served as a Global Business Executive for a multinational ingredient manufacturer for the last 17 years. He brought his entrepreneurial mindset, passion for learning and curiosity toward life to his role while operating a startup within the walls of a 90-year-old company. Brandon is a nurse and attorney with a BSN from Case Western Reserve University and JD /MBA from The University of Akron. For the past five years, Brandon has led a small business Accelerator, a program that leverages technology and manufacturing to provide market-ready solutions, brand development, and quick innovation to small businesses. Hundreds of entrepreneurs have benefitted from his leadership to launch and develop their brands. He is a Trustee at his home church, The House of the Lord and he sits on the board for several non-profit organizations. Brandon currently resides in Copley, Ohio with his wife and two sons.

His's platform focuses on uplifting the community and families through increased safety and public health services, resources for small businesses, and connecting the community to the county. Brandon believes in creating opportunities for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, and in building a brighter future for Summit County.
